I am a Gifted Education Advocate and work with gifted communities throughout the U.S. and worldwide. I have also worked in education for 15 years as a substitute teacher and paraeducator. I hold a B.A. degree in Sociology.

I began Gifted Parenting Support in March of 2010 to support parents of young gifted children. Today it is read in over 110 countries and its readership includes parents, educators, and academics. Our Facebook Page has over 4,800 Likes and 4,950 Followers.

Since March of 2012, I have worked for the Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented as the moderator of Global #gtchat Powered by TAGT on Twitter which is  held Thursdays at 8 PM ET. An average of 3,400 tweets reaching over 6 million Twitter accounts are devoted to this global discussion each month. Under my leadership, the #gtchat community has expanded to include transcripts at Wakelet, a Blog, a Pinterest Page, and Facebook Page.

My professional memberships include TAGT, PAGE, NAGC, SENG, ECHA, Gifted Homeschoolers Forum, associate member of IRATDE and Founder Member of GT Voice in the UK; NAGC Parent Editorial and Content Advisory Board (PECAB) 2013 to 2018.
