Our school district, as many others around the nation, is facing financial difficulties, primarily because, despite a huge rise in population, our town hasn't passed a school levy in 10 years. I think a lot of people assume that since these kids are academically advanced they'll be just fine, but there's SO much more to being gifted and the standard classroom isn't set up to deal with it.<br />Ugh. I could go on and on but I won't.
